The night sky is sparkling with the Quadrantids Meteor Shower this week. The annual meteor shower is always the first astronomical event of the the year, but thanks in part to an older moon this year’s display has been particularly impressive with as many as 80 meteors per hour visible during the shower’s peak. While you may have missed the peak of the Quadrantids Meteor Shower, if you look up tonight between nightfall and dawn you have one last chance to catch the dazzling display.
