What: Long Beach Winter Farmer’s Market

When: Saturday, Feb. 27, 9am–Noon
Why Go: Support local and regional agriculture by shopping for fresh, seasonal produce. Open every Saturday in February, the indoor heated arena will have certified organic vegetables, fruits, cheese, wine, soaps and more. Go.
What: A Taste of the Oscars
Where: The Madison Theatre at Molloy College
When: Sunday, Feb. 28, 5:30-11pm
Why Go: Join Pulse for a Taste of the Oscars hosted by Long Beach International Film Festival and Madison Theatre at Molloy College. Enjoy tastings from 20 plus restaurants, an awards ceremony honoring Burt Young, live red carpet coverage and watch the Oscars with Pulse. Go.
What: Opici Wines Pairing Dinner

What: Long Island Winterfest–Live On The Vine
When: Feb. 20-March 20
Why Go: Make way for this five-week wine, music and art festival on the East End with a total of 30 venues, 23 wineries and 90 events. A project of East End Arts, the activities will run weekends through March 20. Go.
