Laurel Palermo and Tommy Renzetti, owners of North Shore Horse Rescue, hosted the second annual Phoenix Award Gala. The rescue presented the Novak family, owners of the Long Island Game Farm, with the Phoenix Award for their dedication to animal advocacy, promotion of humane practices and the health and wellness of all animals, exotic and domestic. The event was held at Giorgio’s in Baiting Hollow and included a three-course meal, dessert and dancing.
