What: Port Jefferson Easter Parade & Egg Hunt

Why Go: The Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce and Innovation Toyota of Middle Island are sponsoring an old-fashioned Easter bonnet (with all the frills upon it) walking parade that will begin at Theatre Three and end at the Port Jefferson Village Center at the Harbor. The egg hunt will be on the Great Lawn at the Harborfront and Children’s Park. Go.
What: Wine Cellar Experience
Where: Martha Clara Vineyards
When: Saturday, March 26, 1pm
Why Go: Long Island vintner Juan E. Micieli-Martinez is giving a cellar tour at the Premium Wine Group as part of their wine education series. See the wine cellar up close as the winemaker talks about its properties. Afterwards, go to the tasting room and enjoy the scenery. Go.
What: The Chequit’s Red Maple & Lenz Winery Toast Spring Wine Dinner
Where: Red Maple at The Chequit
When: Saturday, March 26, 6pm
Why Go: Red Maple, Salt Hotels’s chic restaurant and bar hosts a Spring Wine Dinner, pairing its New American cuisine with a curated selection of pre-release and limited availability wines from Lenz Winery. Diners will have the opportunity to ask questions, discuss the wines and Red Maple’s executive chef and pastry chef will explain the menu created to compliment the wine selections. Go.
What: 20th Annual Charity Event
Where: Crest Hollow Country Club, Woodbury
When: Wednesday, March 23, 6-10pm
Why Go: The Insurance Professionals Association of Long Island Inc. is hosting their annual charity event to benefit The Safe Center and Long Island Special Olympics. Andy Meehan of Utica National Group will be honored. The night includes a buffet dinner, dancing, an open bar and Chinese and silent auctions. Go.
