“We are thrilled to bring Le Vin to Smith Haven Mall,” said Ann M. Schultz, director of mall marketing and business development at Smith Haven Mall. “We expect that its tantalizing small plates menu, extensive wine list, dessert and coffee offerings, all presented in a casual yet inviting environment, will be well-received by our shoppers.”

Drawing on inspiration from the European way of life, Reuge and Lhopitault created Le Vin to be a casual bistro-style restaurant offering tapas, wine, desserts and coffee. Dishes such as the roasted tomatoes, olive mix and caramelized spicy nut, lasagna “ratatouille,” and bone marrow bruschetta with Amagansett harvested sea salt tapas highlight ingredients sourced from local farms. The wine menu, curated by Lhopitault includes local wines but also extends to showcase various grapes and regions and beginning in May, Le Vin will host weekly wine tastings with a speaker to provide background on the wines. Finishing off the menu are simple, yet decadent desserts that include Chocolate “Pot de Crème” Madelines and a Grapefruit Salad, Citrus Sorbet and Biscotti.

Located on the south side of Route 25 next to Bobby’s Burger Palace, Le Vin is currently open only for dinner but will open for breakfast—expect croissants, grilled bread and more—lunch and dinner beginning Monday, March 28.
