You just finished spring-cleaning your wardrobe and now you have nothing to wear this season. Your walk-in closet won’t be barren for long. Mint Clothing Boutiques became a go-to for Long Islander’s dress and denim desires when owner Joanna Mazzella opened her first shop in Mattituck in 2004, and she just launched an official website. Get ready to fuel your online shopping habit with your favorite designers like Rebecca Minkoff, Yumi Kim and Bella Dahl.

The website also offers in-house exclusive brands and a seasonal lookbook to help you plan a perfect ensemble and packing list for your next beach getaway. Think off-the-shoulder floral tops and breezy maxi dresses that will take you from your beach towel to cocktail hour with the ease you crave all summer long.
“Because we started out on the North Fork I’d say we have a Hamptons beachy vibe. Everything is very light,” Mazzella said.
If you’re game for some good old-fashioned brick-and-mortar retail therapy, you can pick up your summer fashion essentials at one of Mint’s five New York locations in Mattituck, Westhampton Beach, New York City, Stony Brook and Locust Valley. Bring your daughter, niece and mother, too.
Mazzella, who was a buyer in New York City before moving out East with her husband, prides herself on being a brand that brings women of all ages together. Customers range from the 20-something college crowd to women in their 60s browsing racks full of the latest trends at a range of price points, although most items start at around $40.
“No one usually leaves without getting something because we have a lot of different variety,” said Mazzella.
And when those customers walk out the door, they’re on their ways to a colorful, effortlessly chic and stylish spring.
