You said yes to the dress but have you said yes to your wedding transportation? Before you cross off one more wedding to-do make sure you have a wedding transportation plan. Mark Vigliante of M&V Limo tells Pulse how to navigate the options.
Book Transportation Well in Advance
While you’re debating flower choices, taste-testing cakes and helping your girls pick out the perfect and most flattering bridesmaid dresses, don’t forget to think about your transportation. Vigliante recommends booking six months in advance. And if your wedding is in the popular months (April-September) book about seven months ahead of time.
Think Outside the Box
It’s your wedding. If you’re not the limo type, don’t use one. Pick the transportation option that will fit your personality and your budget. Maybe that means going old school with a trolley, starting the reception early with a party bus or an antique Rolls Royce for just you and your spouse.
Look at The Transportation Before You Sign
Yes, you can and should see the vehicle before signing a contract. As anyone with an Instagram account knows, images can be deceiving. And seeing the vehicle in person will help you visualize the day.
You’re planning well in advance, thinking outside the box and looking at the vehicles, but before you sign there are a few questions Vigliante recommends everyone asks:
“Ask if they own the vehicles, what type of insurance they have and find out what the experience of the driver is.”
Now, you’re ready to ride in style.
