7 Can’t Miss Events This Weekend Out East

What: Bubblepalooza
Where: Long Island Sports Park
When: Saturday, June 11, 10am
Why Go: Run, walk or even cartwheel a 5k through an epic wall of colorful bubbles. Bubblepalooza will also be collecting non-perishable canned goods, baby diapers and personal care products for the charity Long Island Cares. Go.


What: Woodstock Revival IV
Where: The Vanderbilt Museum’s Great Lawn
When: Sunday, June 12, noon
Why Go:  Bring your beach chairs and blankets for this annual outdoor concert on the Great Lawn. Go. 

North Fork Wine Trail

What: First Annual North Fork Rosé Crawl
Where: North Fork Wine Trail
When: Saturday June 11, 10am
Why Go: It is National Rosé Day and Bridge Lane Wine has organized a rosé crawl along the North Fork Wine Trail. Bridge Lane, Roanoke, The Lenz Winery and Castello di Borghese will offer complementary tastings of rosé and other goodies. Go.

Rock Hill

What: K of C 8th Annual “Tee for a Cause Charity Golf Event”
Where: Rock Hill Golf and Country Club
When: Friday, June 10, 11am
Why Go: This event includes a hole-in-one tournament, buffet lunch, refreshments on-course, cocktail hour and a dinner reception. The Knights of Columbus will donate the proceeds to local veteran charity Boots on the GroundGo.


What: Strawberry Festival and Craft Fair
Where: St. Thomas of Canterbury Episcopal Church
When: Saturday, June 11, 9am-4pm
Why Go: Admission is free. There are children’s games and activities, arts and crafts along with music, raffles and all sorts of food. For additional information, call 631-265-4520.


What: Garden in a Bowl Workshop
Where: Behind the Pelletreau Silver Shop
When: Saturday, June 11, 10am and 11am
Why Go: Gardner Hilary Woodward will teach people how to plant and manage a garden that can provide salad greens all summer long. Bring a pot or a deep bowl (Woodward says one with drain holes work the best). Go.  

Westhampton Beach

What: Jim Norton: Mouth Full of Shame Tour
Where: Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center
When: Saturday, June 11, 8pm
Why Go:  Get a good laugh when stand-up comedian Jim Norton, who also co-hosts the Opie and Jim Norton Show on Sirius XM Radio, hits the Hamptons. Go.
