We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: Long Island was made for summer. Sun-kissed cheeks on a sandy shore, day trips to the wineries and red carpet events that bring out Hollywood’s biggest stars and make our Island a destination when the warm weather hits. As much as we love welcoming celebs to our backyards, no star shines brighter than the sun, especially when it’s saying good night. We want to chase Long Island sunsets this summer, so I asked you to be my guides. Catch explosions of color as the night sets in.

We are card-carrying members of #sunsetlovers anonymous on Instagram. Snap a pic of one and tag @longislandpulse on Instagram to satisfy our endless cravings for Long Island sunsets.
