When: Saturday, Aug. 27, 8pm
Why Go: Listen to your favorite Broadway songs under the stars at this free event; bring blankets and chairs. Go.

Long Island City
What: LIC Flea Music Series
When: Saturday, Aug. 27 and Sunday, Aug. 28
Where: 5-25 46th Ave, Long Island City,
Why Go: Grab a brew, chow down on the some of the best food in New York City and shop for hard-to-find vintage and handcrafted items while relaxing on the Long Island City waterfront. Flying Faders performs Saturday; DJ Herbert Holler of the Freedom Party NYC is up Sunday. Go.

What: Jimmy Buffett live
Where: Nikon at Jones Beach Theater
When: Thursday, Aug. 25, 8pm
Why Go: Get swept away in “Margaritaville” with the singing legend and his hordes of fans. Go.

What: Dave Koz and David Sanborn live
When: Thursday, August 25, 8 pm
Where: NYCB Theatre at Westbury
Why Go: This is the first time the saxophone greats are touring together, and what a show it is. Backed by a stellar band, Sanborn, who has won six Grammy awards, and nine-time Grammy nominee Koz are making magical music together. Go.
