Nearly 2,000 attendees were on hand to dig into juicy offerings served up at Pulse’s Great Burger Battle on Aug. 14 at Shorefront Park in Patchogue. Dirtyburger of Plainview emerged from a competitive field of 10 finalists to be crowned this year’s winner. The 2014 champ, GM Burger Bar of Rockville Centre, was second. Off the Block Kitchen & Meats of Sayville came in third. Guests also enjoyed drinks and light fare while taking in performances by Jeff LeBlanc, Quarter Horse and Oogee Wawa.
