Share Your Favorite Holiday Cookie Recipes

Remember when you’d come home on a nippy December afternoon to the smell of fresh-baked cookies? And how excited you were when grandma let you in on the secret to her chocolate-peppermint cookies—the ones she saved for the holiday season and you craved the 11 months of the year? These memories are priceless mementos of sweet treats and family. At Pulse, we consider our readers like family. You bring us into your homes and inspire us to keep finding the best Long Island has to offer. That’s why we’re hosting a digital cookie swap.

Participating is easy.

1. Submit original cookie recipes to by Friday, Nov. 25. Be sure to include ingredients, instructions and a hi-res image if you have one. You can submit as many as you’d like, but they must be your original recipes.
2. Check back on Thursday, Dec. 8 to see which recipes were selected for our book.
3. Get baking, and share pictures of your cookies by tagging @longislandpulse on Instagram. We’ll share some of our sweet treats, too.

Our mouths are already watering.
