Why Go: Boats decked out in holiday lights will parade down the Connetquot River. A Fireworks by Grucci display will follow. Guests can dine on favorites like peking duck tacos and cedar roasted Scottish salmon as they watch. The food is so good, rumor has it even Santa plans to attend. Go

What: Southampton Trails Preservation Society Annual Walk-It-Off Hike

Why Go: Get up, get out and get going on this day-after-Thanksgiving hike. Enjoy the outdoors and take in beautiful views of Round Pond, Long Pond and Little Long Pond. Go.
