Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer and Muhammad Ali Enterprises hosted a charity event to pay tribute to the late heavyweight champion at Gleason’s Gym in Brooklyn, where Muhammad Ali trained. A commemorative gold timepiece created by TAG Heuer was presented, as were a pair of Ali-autographed boxing gloves and a commemorative medal along with certificates of authenticity, all displayed in a custom-studded leather case made in Switzerland for the occasion. The watch was auctioned, with all proceeds going to The Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
