Contrast prints

Mixing prints with patterns takes practice, but this trend is making a strong comeback from the 60s. Just look at Stone’s dress for the La La Land premiere in Paris, perfection! “When mixing prints you have to be adventurous and go for it. Mixing the right colors and shapes so they match.” Plus, the simpler and more graphic the prints, the easier they are to blend.
Off the shoulder

It’s all about the shoulders: one-shouldered dresses and cut-out pieces, straight up strapless garments or anything to do with exaggeration of the shoulder. “It’s definitely a trend people are scared to embrace but this woman continues to switch it up on the carpet.” Fierce and sexy! The skin showing is the perfect blend of flirty and fashionable.
Plunging neckline

Many actresses were gracing the red carpet with plunging necklines at the Golden Globes. But Stone’s star-studded gown with a plunging neckline and nipped-in waist stole the show. A perfect example of her “understated elegance.”
Rosy pink lipstick

Lips are a fun accessory not many women think about. “I always say a pop of color on your lips is the way to go. The lipstick version of flowing dresses, ballet flats and a white-wine spritzer? It’s called rosy pink lipstick and Stone is fabulously displaying it in multiple looks.” It’s feminine, flirty and totally effortless.
