8th–Joe Rock & The All Stars
Giacomo Jacks, Amityville
This classic rock ensemble performs at this legendary watering hole the third Saturday of every month performing a rowdy mix of rock, blues, punk and rockabilly sounds. Besides frontman Joe Rock, some of the featured members include bassist Mark “The Animal” Mendoza of Twisted Sister fame and lead guitarist and member of the NY Blues Hall of Fame, Lou Carrollo.
11th–Danny Kean Trio
XO Wine & Chocolate Bar, Huntington
This in-the-pocket trio brings their unique mix of jazz and blues to this comfortable eatery that features New American cuisine. Kean, besides being a gifted blue-eyed soul singer, has serious chops on the keyboards as well.
25th–Patchogue Folk Festival
This annual gathering, now in its 8th year, always presents an eclectic array of local songwriters. Some of the performers who will be on hand include The Como Brothers, Inda Eaton, Mick Hargreaves, Kirsten Maxwell and Steve Welner.

Long Island’s premier rockabilly combo presents a very special evening of original material along with some classic roots Americana songs. Several special guests will be sitting with the band: Andy Burton on keyboards who is currently on tour with Cyndi Lauper; vocalist Tricia Scotti, from Ronnie Spector’s band; and the popular East End rocker, Nancy Atlas.
