“We really wanted to incorporate Long Island into the food program at the new Nassau Coliseum,” said Marco Fabozzi, VP of Hospitality Strategy for Levy Restaurants who oversees the Coliseum’s Long Island Taste. “A lot of people who will be attending events there…will know these places because they’ve been to them in their respective towns or maybe they ventured off and tried them in different areas.”
Fabozzi, who sought to replicate the local angle Levy Restaurants executed at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, sorted through an extensive list with his team to come up with the eight Long Island restaurants and businesses that will have a concession stand in the arena. Each purveyor will offer different dishes bringing much-needed variety to the new stadium.
Nathan’s Famous
Hot dogs have long been a staple at stadiums making it only right to have Nathan’s Famous as an option for Nassau Coliseum visitors. The original all beef hot dog will be available with toppings of choice along with the Nathan’s Jalapeno and Cheddar Sausage and crinkle cut fries topped with chili and cheese.
Smokin’ Al’s

Smokin Al’s Chopped Brisket Sandwich
Pork and brisket are also on the menu with Massapequa Park’s BBQ joint, Smokin’ Al’s. Choose from Smokin’ Al’s Pulled Pork or Chopped Brisket Sandwich with Al’s Cole Slaw and pair it with a mac and cheese side “very similar to what you’ll find in their restaurant.”
Prime Food Distributor
What’s a party without a grill? The Port Washington-based meat supplier will be serving up some goodies under the name Grilled by PFD’s. That includes a special blend artisanal beef patty that they crafted specifically for the new Nassau Coliseum. There’s also a cheeseburger option and a steak sandwich which Levy Restaurants and Prime Food Distributor worked together to perfect.
Cabo, A Taste of Mexico

Cabo Loaded Nachos
Latin food cravings will be satisfied with this Mexican concession stand thanks to the popular Rockville Centre spot. Options for the Pollo Al Pastor Tacos or the Loaded Nachos will bring some more spice to the evening.
Umberto’s
Pizza lovers, rejoice. The longtime New Hyde Park restaurant’s Signature Margherita Personal Pie once featured on Food Network’s The Best Thing I Ever Ate will be available along with a to-be-determined second pizza option.
Roast Sandwich House
The “best sandwiches on Long Island” will be just a few feet away. Known for its all-natural, whole roasted meats, the Roast Sandwich House stand will offer a buffalo roasted chicken sandwich with gorgonzola spread, a meatball alla vodka sandwich and sliced roast beef sandwich.
Vincent’s Clam Bar

Chicken Parm Pocket
The popular Italian restaurant in Carle Place will let Coliseum guests have a taste of Vincent’s Signature Meatball Pizza Burger. The list continues with Italian chicken tenders and fries and a chicken farm pocket similar to a calzone.
Greekrave
Say “opa” with this Deer Park favorite offering some Mediterranean delights. Options include Greekrave lamb or beef gyro, Krave burger and Greek nachos with pita chips. Those looking for healthier grub are also in luck with the Greek salad.
