Already a summer home for many celebrities, the Hamptons will add another high-profile seasonal resident this year. And this one will make summer even more delicious. Eleven Madison Park, which was recently named the world’s best restaurant by the World’s 50 Best, will open up an East Hampton pop-up, EMP House, June 22.

The restaurant owned by Chef Daniel Humm and Will Guidara will close its Manhattan location for renovations in June. EMP House will feature more casual, summertime fare than its Art Deco city location known for putting New York twists on European cuisine. Expect fried chicken and lobster boils rather than honey lavender roasted duck and pigs bladder cooked in celery root.
Though the restaurant opening is months away, the line to get in starts May 1. No need to stand in line like it’s Black Friday—diners can reserve a table over the phone with an American Express card.
Those who want to check out the original location can pop into Eleven Madison Park, which sits across from Madison Park, for an 11-course retrospective tasting menu with classics from its 11 years in the business until it closes in June. It will reopen in September.
Eleven Madison Park is the first US restaurant to top the list since 2004 when Napa Valley’s French Laundry came in at No. 1. Cosme, which Pulse featured in its November issue, made its debut at No. 40.
