Why Go: Spring has sprung and baseball season has begun. Come out to see the Long Island Ducks play their first home game of the season. Go

What: Rites of Spring Festival Opening Concert
Where: Castello di Borghese Vineyard, 17150 Middle Road
When: Sunday, April 30, 5-7pm
Why Go: Kick off the second edition of the music festival with a piano recital by Paolo Bartolani. North Fork Chocolate Company and Castello di Borghese Vineyard will be holding a reception after the concert. Go

What: A Midsummer Night’s Dream
Where: Adelphi University Performing Arts Center (AUPAC)
When: Friday, April 28, 7:30pm, Saturday, April 29, 2pm & 7:30pm, Sunday, April 30, 2pm
Why Go: Featuring the students of the Department of Theatre and directed by Brian Rose, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, William Shakespeare’s most popular comedy, portrays the adventures of four young lovers and a group of amateur actors, their interactions with woodland fairies and a duke and duchess. What: Adelphi Jazz Ensemble
Where: Adelphi University Performing Arts Center (AUPAC)

Why Go: The Adelphi Jazz Ensemble covers the spectrum from traditional to cutting-edge jazz. The ensemble often features original student compositions in addition to pieces by some of the greatest names in jazz. Go

What: Adelphi Chorale and Adelphi Vocal Ensemble Spring Concert
Where: Adelphi University Performing Arts Center (AUPAC)
When: Sunday, April 30, 4pm
Why Go: Join the Adelphi Chorale and Adelphi Vocal Ensemble as they present works celebrating the joys of the spring season through their varied a cappella and accompanied choral repertoire. Go
