What: 9th Annual Memorial Day Weekend Show on the Green
Where: Montauk Green
When: May 26-28, 10am-6pm
Why Go: When the weather is beautiful (which it should be for at least part of the extended weekend), who wants to be stuck indoors? This annual festival transforms Montauk into an outdoor museum, showcasing paintings, sculptures, tapestries, jewelry, photography and more. Guests can even commission a custom-made piece of art. Go.


What: Dan’s Rosé Soirée
Where: Southampton Arts Center
When: Sunday, May 28, 5-8pm
Why Go: Put on those rosé colored glasses for a quintessential summer Sunday. Guests can sip more than 25 of the East End’s best rosés paired perfectly with small bites from famous chefs and restaurants. If rosé is not your drink of choice, savor an assemblage of the summer’s best craft cocktails and beer. Why Go: Vodka for a valuable cause. Join the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for a night of giving back and fun. What: Taste Of Wine
Where: Southampton Animal Shelter

Why Go: “Canines, Felines, and Wines,” oh my! Guests can sample hor d’oeuvres, taste wines and enjoy a night filled with laughs and live music. All proceeds go directly to helping homeless pets. Go.

East Hampton

What: Pollock Family Drip Painting
Where: Pollock Krasner House and Study Center
When: Saturday, May 27, 10-11:30am
Why Go: Acclaimed painter Jackson Pollock’s house is opening its doors for family-friendly fun. Directed by Long Island-based author and artist Joyce Raimondo, the event allows families to explore the house the Pollock lived and worked in. Later, attendees can venture outdoors to create their own drip paint masterpiece. Go.


What: Elements Fitness Studio Is Back For The 2017 Season

Why Go: Sag Harbor-based photographer Jonathan Morse will be signing his new catalogue “Face To Face,” a collection of black and white portraits of artists and writers from the East End. And not only can guests support local Long Islander artists, but they can also support the Long Island community! Proceeds from the sales of Morse’s book will go to benefit the Sag Harbor Whaling & Historical Museum. Go.
