East Hills

What: Annual July 4th Parade, Festival and Fireworks Display
Where: The Park at East Hills (209 Harbor Hill Rd.)
When: Saturday, July 1, Parade: 10am-12pm, Fireworks begin 6pm
Why Go: The morning parade and festival will include a children’s comedy and juggling show and the nightly festivities will feature a DJ, barbecue dinner and fireworks at 9pm. It doesn’t get much more USA than that! Go

Why Go: Support the Southampton Rotary Scholarship Fund by running in this Fourth of July weekend race. Top three finishers in each male/female age group will receive ribbons. Go

What: BBQ, Baseball and Grucci Fireworks
Where: Bethpage Ballpark—Long Island Ducks (3 Courthouse Dr.)
When: Sunday, July 2, 5pm
Why Go: Kick off the night with an all-American barbecue, followed by the Ducks game at 6:45pm. Don’t leave after the final out, as Fireworks by Grucci will be putting on a spectacle starting at 9:30pm. Go

Why Go: Looking for more of a challenge? Celebrate America with an early morning Independence Day 4-mile run. Enjoy refreshments after every mile and at the finish line. Awards and/or prize money will be given to top finishers. An 8am 1-mile youth race is also available. Go
