Lola may be young, but she’s whip-smart—she already learned how to sit and the shelter staff is now helping her with down. Lola loves kids five and over.

Like many Long Islanders, Jimmy is a water lover and likes to frequent the shelter pool. This playful dog also enjoys a good game of tug and catch and has never met a squeaky toy he didn’t like. Jimmy walks well off leash and is a happy little guy—though he’d be even happier with a forever playmate. Jimmy would do best with a family with children 12 and over who will help him continue his training. He is off to a good start and already knows how to sit and come.
