Burgers—not a Baldwin—may be the most photographed Hamptons visitors this weekend. Shake Shack is taking up residency on the EMP Summer House patio and serving lunch Friday through Sunday from noon to 5pm.
Classics, like the ShackBurger, Bacon Double Cheeseburger and crinkle fries, will be available. There will also be Hamptons-inspired specialty items like the CLAMBurger (cheeseburger topped with crispy little neck clams and ShackSauce) and lobster shack (hamburger topped with fresh Maine lobster, lettuce, tomato and ShackSauce).
Those heading West this weekend can get a taste of the exclusive menu at The Madison Square Park Shack, which will be serving up the Lobster Shack all weekend.
A pop-up in its own right, EMP Summer House is the summer outpost for Eleven Madison Park, which was named the world’s best restaurant by World’s 50 Best this spring. The menu, crafted by Chef Daniel Humm and Will Guidara, focuses more on summertime fare than the Art Deco city location. Think fried chicken and lobster boils rather than honey lavender roasted duck. The laid-back feel made it a perfect host for Shack Shack.
“Shake Shack has always been a place for friends and family to gather and spend time together while enjoying great food,” said culinary director Mark Rosati. “EMP Summer House provides the perfect setting to do just that.”
EMP Summer House is located at 341 Pantigo Rd. in East Hampton. Get to know Humm in this story from Pulse’s July/August issue.
