What: New York City Veterans Day Parade
Where: Eternal Light Monument in Madison Square Park

Why Go: Join tens of thousands of marchers, including veterans of all eras, civic and youth groups, businesses and high school bands from across America, as they march across the city. Floats and vintage military vehicles add to the remembrance. Click to go

What: Fee Free for Veterans Day Weekend

What: A Century of Military Technology
Where: Museum of American Armor
When: Saturday, Nov. 11, 10am-4pm
Why Go: Check out a 100-year-old M1917 tank that is on loan from the Collings Foundation of Stow, Massachusetts as the nation observes the centennial of America’s entry into World War I. It will be the lead vehicle in an armor parade on Veterans Day that includes the legendary Sherman tank of World War II and the M48 Patton tank that served during the Cold War and Vietnam. Why Go: Operation Clothing Drop Inc. is presenting the 1st Annual Fundraising Ball honoring veterans. Proceeds will go to the homeless veterans in New York City and Long Island. Click to go
