Make a few holiday stops during the 5th Annual Cutchogue Holiday House Tour. The tour includes four Bed and Breakfasts—Cedar House on Sound, Sannino Vineyard, Blue Iris and Fig and Olive—filled with festive décor. Even better? Guests will get to indulge in bites and wines from local restaurants and vineyards. One more stop is the Zuhoski Tree Farm where visitors can choose or cut down their own Christmas tree. Old Westbury Gardens, Old Westbury

The former estate of John Shaffer Phipps gets a holiday twist. Decorated period rooms, Santa, cookies and cider await at Old Westbury Gardens this season. And there are several opportunities to head to this family-friendly event throughout the month of December. Vanderbilt Mansion, Centerport

Each year, the Vanderbilt Mansion entices hundreds of visitors to come check out the holiday décor. This year, there are ornaments, wreaths, lighted trees and champagne poinsettia leaves. Guided tours kicked off the day after Thanksgiving and go until Dec. 30. Head over Tuesday, Saturday or Sunday (12:30pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm) or any day between Dec. 26-Dec. 30. Sagtikos Manor, Bay Shore

This historic home is offering a tour with the theme “Christmas is Coming.” Rooms will showcase how people celebrated the holiday throughout history. The tours take place Dec. 9 and Dec. 10 every 15 minutes from 10:30am-2:30pm. It’s $25 for adults, $20 for seniors and $8 for children ages 5 to 12. Mill Neck Manor, Mill Neck

Three floors of this 1920s Tudor-revival style Gold Coast mansion will be decked out with festive décor. Expect holiday-themed rooms, six fully decorated Christmas trees, lights and adorned fireplace mantles. Mill Neck Manor invites guests to see the magic on Dec. 2, Dec. 3, Dec. 9 and Dec. 10 from 11am-1pm. Tours are free after an admission price of $12.
