The first day of spring is around the corner, which means walks in the park, picnics and a whirl of outdoor fun. Southampton Animal Shelter has five adorable pups ready to partake in endless spring excitement with their new families.
Caliber

Age: 5 years
Gender: Male
Breed: Pit Bull Mix
Sweet and lovable, Caliber hasn’t always had things go his way but you wouldn’t know it by his energetic spirit. His perfect day would include taking a walk on the beach and playing ball, followed by dinner and a movie. He is looking for a mature home and would prefer to be the only pet.
Georgia

Age: 4 years
Gender: Female
Breed: Labrador Retriever Mix
Sweet and shy, this Southern belle would enjoy a calm home where she can be herself. Like other Labradors, she loves to run and play and dreams of having access to her very own backyard—though she wouldn’t mind a playmate. Her lighthearted nature makes her an ideal roommate and she also likes to keep her kennel very clean.
Buster

Age: 6 years
Gender: Male
Breed: Mastiff Mix
Known as the gentle giant of the bunch, Buster is very easy-going and would like to find a low-energy home—bonus points if there is a porch. He would love to hang out all day next to his new owner, peacefully observing the surroundings. Having worked on his commands, he has “sit” and “come” down pat.
Freckles

Age: 4 years
Gender: Male
Breed: Labrador Retriever Mix
Always happy and upbeat, Freckles is an outdoorsy type who loves going on adventures with the space to let loose. He has a lot of energy and is looking for a house with a big yard to run around in—an apartment would just cramp his style. He is also very bright and has all the basic commands down from “sit” to “stay.”
Thunder

Age: 7 months
Gender: Male
Breed: Labrador Retriever Mix
Because of The Sato Project, an organization that is dedicated to rescuing abused and abandoned dogs in Puerto Rico, this outgoing pup and his brother Jack were able to come to the Southampton Animal Shelter to find their forever homes. The happy puppy loves getting attention, and like the Labrador in him, has the loyalty to accompany his owner everywhere. His dream home has a fenced in yard and a nice soft bed for sleeping.
