What: Spring Family Freshwater Fishing Festival
Where: Belmont Lake State Park (625 Belmont Ave)
When: Saturday, April 7, 10am to 4pm
Why Go: Spend the day fishing for brown, brook and rainbow trout on top of the lake’s large yellow perch population. The event will also have fishing instructions, fly casting demonstrations and a fish cleaning station. Click to go

What: The Vinyl Revolution Record Show
Where: Cluett Hall (295 Stewart Ave)
When: Sunday, April 8, 11am to 4pm

What: 6th Annual Chili Cook Off
Where: The Lark Pub & Grub (93 Larkfield Road)
When: Sunday, April 8, 1pm to 5pm
Why Go: Benefitting the League For Animal Protection of Huntington, this fun cook off is expected to draw 40 contestants serving up their best chili. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place and there will also be a fan favorite named. Click to go
