When: Friday, April 27, 7-11pm
Why Go: Join celebrity chef Jonathan Scinto for an exclusive and delicious three-course tasting menu inspired by Italian cuisine as seen on Food Network. Three speciality cocktails will also be included, as well as Hanks Beverages and Flying Belgian Brewery’s craft beer samples. Tickets are $45 per person or a table of 10 for $400. Click to go

Sands Point

What: The Butterfly Ball
Where: Hempstead House (127 Middle Neck Road)
When: Saturday, April 28, 7pm
Why Go: For the first time ever, a group of Long Island chefs and North Fork wineries will come together to create a feast in support of the Sands Point Preserve. The food served will reflect the chef’s work, the growing farm-to-table movement and the wineries will provide the perfect pairing for each dish. There will also be a walk through exhibit of exotic butterflies, which will then be donated to the Long Island Aquarium. Click to go


What: Festival of Colors
Where: The Holi Lot (485 Johnson Avenue)
When: Saturday, April 28, 1-7:30pm
Why Go: Celebrate spring, love and diversity with a fun-filled day of live music, murals, art installations and great food. Everyone is encouraged to break social barriers by throwing brightly colored cornstarch and talking to new people. Tickets range from $27-$35. Click to go


What: Who’s Bad—Michael Jackson Tribute
Where: Mulcahy’s Pub (3232 Railroad Avenue)
When: Saturday, April 28, 8-10pm
Why Go: Enjoy the ultimate Michael Jackson experience at Mulcahy’s Pub with Who’s Bad, the international MJ tribute band. You can expect a night full of all MJ’s classics and more. Tickets range from $12-$15. Click to go


What: Margarita March
Where: Gonzalez y Gonzalez (192 Mercer Street)
When: Saturday, April 28-Sunday, April 29, 12-10pm
Why Go: The Margarita March is a fun margarita tasting tour at some of NYC’s best restaurants. Join hundreds of other participants and enjoy a specialty margarita at each restaurant. Pick up your passes between 12 and 3pm on your designated day (no passes will be available for pickup after 3pm) and then proceed in any direction at your own pace. Tickets are $65. Click to go


What: Baiting Hollow Horse Rescue
Where: Baiting Hollow Farm Vineyard (2114 Sound Avenue)
When: Sunday, April 29, 2-5:30pm
Why Go: The Long Island Photo Gallery and Baiting Hollow Horse Rescue are coming together and inviting you to join the private charity photoshoot, luncheon and wine tasting. You will learn about the history of the horse rescue while surrounded by the warm atmosphere and rustic setting. You will also have private access inside the stables and corrals.
