Over 75 prominent artists on Long Island’s East End have created unique and memorable art boxes that will be auctioned to benefit East End Hospice at an annual event on Saturday, September 6th, from 4:30pm to 7pm. A Silent Auction at 4:30 is followed by a Live Auction, Lucas Hunt, auctioneer. Among the artists, such names as Eric Fischl, April Gornik, Stephanie Brody-Lederman, Randall Rosenthal, Frank Wimberley and many others. The $75 price includes wine and hors d’oeuvres. Boxes can be previewed at www.eeh.org. The public is also invited to a free preview reception from 5 to 7pm on Wednesday, August 27th, at Hoie Hall, St. Luke’s Church in East Hampton, 18 James Lane.
