The Riverhead Foundation for Marine Research and Preservation is hosting their 18th Annual 5K Run for the Ridley in Downtown Riverhead on Saturday, October 24. The race is open to runners and joggers of all ages, will benefit the foundation’s sea turtle rescue and rehabilitation program. Check-in is from 8 to 9 :30 a.m., and the race begins at 10 a.m. Early registration is $20.00 if postmarked by October 17, 2015; late registration between October 18th & October 23 is $25.00; race day registration is $30.00.
