The East End Mushroom Company is hosting their 1st Annual Mushroom Cook-Off on Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 12 to 4 p.m. at Macari Vineyards in Mattituck. The event will feature up to 40 local and regional chefs who will be preparing tasting dishes with the mushrooms we grow – Maitake, Shiitake, and Oyster. Macari Vineyards wine and Greenport Harbor Brewing Co. beer will be served, and live music will be performed by The Earthtones.
