2016 Comeback Trail 5K Run/Walk

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 22, 2016 | 8:30 AMThe Comeback Trail 5K run/walk will arrive in Wantagh, New York, Sat., Oct. 22. The third event in the 2016 series, it is the first time the Comeback Trail 5K Series will be in New York. Event registration is now open for the 5K run/walk, which will kick off at 8:30 a.m. at Jones Beach State Park in parking field 5 Oct. 22. During the Comeback Trail 5K, participants will make their way along the boardwalk as they symbolically celebrate stroke survivors making a comeback.

General early bird registration is $20 through Sep. 16, increasing to $25 Sep. 17. The participation fee for stroke survivors is always $20. Receive a fifth registration for free when you register four people on a team.

Comeback Trail 5K Series registration supports National Stroke Association’s mission to raise awareness and lighten the burden of stroke recovery in all communities across the U.S. National Stroke Association is the only U.S. organization focused solely on reducing the incidence and impact of stroke through prevention, treatment and rehabilitation support for stroke survivors and caregivers.
