30th Annual Great Neck Plaza AutoFest Highlights Vintage Vehicles and Family Fun

Great Neck BID donates registration fees to Wounded Warrior Project

WHAT: The Village of Great Neck Plaza Business Improvement District’s 30th Annual Great Neck Plaza AutoFest and Street Festival will feature more than 100 classic vehicles, including the one-of-a-kind 1926 Sutz “Speedster,” custom built for Cornelius and Grace Vanderbilt.

For the second consecutive year, the Great Neck Plaza BID is donating all AutoFest registration fees to the Wounded Warrior Project: a nonprofit organization dedicated to those men and women of our armed services injured while in service to our country.

For the third consecutive year, the top 12 finalists from the BID’s June karaoke competition series will compete for the coveted Great Neck Plaza Idol title. The Meade Brothers will again be performing at the center stage and Seven Bridges Road Band will also be performing live.

The Great Neck Plaza Business Improvement District’s (BID) mission is to foster and promote a positive and vital business community through various initiatives including consumer awareness programs, media/advertising campaigns and sponsorship of many events including the Annual Great Neck Plaza AutoFest and Street Festival. The day-long event draws a crowd of thousands and features live entertainment, pony rides, a petting zoo, carnival games, and inflatable bouncers and showcases the sights, sounds and flavors of Great Neck Plaza.
