This all-day family event includes Shellfish Hatchery programs, a Rotary Clambake and a picnic at North Sea Community Center to acknowledge North Sea’s ancient past, the 1640 landing of English pioneers and the founding of Southampton. Schedule for the day: 9-12, Family Marine Biology Program; 12-2:30, Colonial Food & Rotary Clambake; 1-3, Aquaculture Program; 2-3, Shellfish Hatchery Open House; 3-4, Rededication of the monument to 1640; 4-5, Shinnecock Tribe Historical Reenactment; and 5:30-8, Picnic at the North Sea Community Center.
