Join Smith Haven Mall in the Lifestyle Village every Monday evening this August for their annual event, Movies Under the Stars, featuring family-friendly films on a big screen. The event, sponsored by Suffolk Center for Speech and Your Local Kids Source.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets to grab a spot early, starting at 5 p.m. for Smith Haven Mall’s family-fun entertainment and Marketplace Showcase prior to each movie. Pre-screening entertainment will include face painting, a bounce house and a DJ.

• August 14 – The Secret Life of Pets
• August 21 – Beauty and the Beast
• August 22 – Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
• August 28 – Despicable Me 2

Movies Under the Stars is free and open to the public. Movies are scheduled to begin at dusk (approximately 8 p.m.) and end around 10 p.m.
