Discover the possibilities of acrylic paints! This class is suitable for beginners or intermediate painters and will focus on the fundamentals of color theory, the study of light and shadow, composition, visual perspective, brush work and paint handling and application, as it pertains to acrylic medium.

John Mansueto is a fine art landscape painter and freelance illustrator formally educated at Parsons School of Design where he graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor of Fine Art. John has illustrated children’s books, worked at JMR graphics, and was the staff artist at the Fire Island Tide Newspaper. Inspired by captivating landscapes, John seeks out diverse locations of interest all over Long Island and captures them on canvas using a distinctive technique allowing him to create a unique sense of realism.
