On May 29, Alzheimer’s Disease Resource Center, Inc. (ADRC) will be presenting an “Ask the Expert” Update on Newest Alzheimer’s Research as part of its 2014 Speaker Series at Atria Senior Living, located at 165 Beverly Road in Huntington from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Ana C. Pereira, M.D, an Instructor in Clinical Investigation at Rockefeller University in New York City and a Post Doctorate Research Scientist at Columbia University, will review basic principles about the brain, and mechanisms of Alzheimer’s Disease, with current research and treatments in the field. In addition, Ms. Pereira will explain the research she has been conducting at Rockefeller University in New York City, along with potential opportunities to participate in a clinical trial.
