Author Henry Osmers has worked as a tour director and lighthouse historian at the Montauk Point Lighthouse since 2001. He will discuss his book “American Gibraltar: Montauk and the Wars” which chronicles the history of Montauk deemed uninhabitable until the outbreak of the American Revolution in 1775 when it became know as Long Island’s Fortress. Come and listen to the tales of this exciting history.
