Bay Area Friends of the Fine Arts presents its annual High School Invitational Juried Art Show.
Featured art works by high school art students from the Bayport-Blue Point, Bellport, Brentwood, Connetquot, Longwood, Patchogue-Medford, Sachem East, Sachem North, Sayville and William Floyd school districts will be exhibited at the BAFFA Art Gallery from Sunday, April 2nd through Sunday, April 9th. Prize ribbons will be awarded in various media as well as a Best in Show ribbon. The Jacqueline Palmer scholarship will be awarded to a senior student who is planning to continue education in the field of art.
The show will open with a reception on April 2nd from 1 to 4 PM. Exhibit hours are 10 AM to 1 PM on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and 1-4 PM on April 8th and 9th. The show is free and is open to the public. For further information: (631) 589-7343 or www.baffa.org.
