Celebrate the Halloween Season at Ripe Art Gallery this October 22nd for Jay Stuart’s first book “SYMPHONY OF HORROR”, an illustrated storybook based off the 1922 silent vampire film “NOSFERATU” . The project started as an Inktober series last year with 31 illustrations telling the story of Nosferatu, and now 35 brand new illustrations have been added to help complete the story.

The Author/Artist Jay Stuart will be on hand, 7-10pm, signing copies of the book, and showing the original artwork. Guest collaboration art by Justin Hart, and a special “Symphony of Horror” Silent film to view during the event! Costumes are welcomed!

In 2014, Stuart made a series of “Inktober” drawings inspired by the story of Nosferatu. These drawings spurred the idea of a fully formed graphic novella, using these ink drawings and adding in text pages for telling the story. “A Symphony in Horror”- An Illustrated Storybook by Jay Stuart will officially release this October 22, 2016.
