Philippe Hersant’s vibrant miniatures provide the perfect amuse bouche, while Ravel is represented both by his charming Habanera and his Piano Trio, the latter penned as a powerful artistic response to WWI. Fauré’s gorgeous and brooding Piano Quartet in G minor brings the program to a stunning close.
