We remember and honor FDNY Captain and United States Marine Corps Sargent Peter J. Casey this October at Mulcahy’s Pub & Concert Hall. There are so many incredible stories about Captain Casey. For someone whose eyes had seen much suffering in his life, he always stepped up instead of stepping away. With all of the death and suffering he saw, he grew more compassionate instead of cowering in pessimism.
One way he chose to give back was through the FDNY Burn Unit. He was passionate about helping the victims in this unit. Burn victims not only suffer from their initial injuries, but also from the lasting scars—both physical and emotional—left after the majority of pain has subsided.
Please help us help them in his name. Come eat, drink, and be merry, all while being charitable! It’s a great cause and great venue in which to celebrate. God Bless the victims, the men and women of our military, our police force, and the FDNY!
