Classic and chic Italian restaurant The Leopard at des Artistes will feature traditional yet adventurous Holiday Chef’s Specials, in addition to their full a la carte menus, on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
The Leopard will ring in the new year with delectable items such as “Organic Farro and porcini mushroom soup” and “Risotto with Prosecco, winter radicchio and stracchino cheese.”
Also on New Year’s Eve, The Leopard will feature a special late seating at 10pm; Chef Vito’s Pre-Set New Year’s Eve Menu will feature Lobster Ravioli, Sauteed Veal Medallion scented with wild fennel pollen, served with roasted fingerling potatoes and Brussels sprouts, and a Traditional “Cotechino con Lenticchie – Italian sweet pork sausage slow cooked with organic lentils herbs. “Festive” is the key word here; the restaurant will be decorated for the occasion, there will be music, and noise-makers will be handed out for the countdown. Right before midnight, diners are also encouraged to leave their seats (and the restaurant) to walk to the corner to watch the beautiful Central Park fireworks up close!
