Executive Chef Ryan Keough of Spuntino Wine Bar & Italian Tapas,will present a Coastal Italian Tapas dinner at the world-renowned James Beard House on Wednesday, August 9. The dinner will take guests on a culinary journey through Italy’s coastal regions, featuring tapas-style dishes that draw inspiration from areas including Puglia, Abruzzo and the Amalfi Coast.
The menu was carefully curated by Chef Keough, who has drawn from his coastal Rhode Island roots and appreciation for local, seasonal and sustainably sourced ingredients, and features a selection of hors d’oeuvres, followed by a five-course dinner and dessert, including wine pairings hand-selected to complement the flavors of each dish. Guests will also have the opportunity to walk through the kitchen upon arrival to see the chef in action, as well as participate in a Q&A session with Chef Keough during the dessert course.
