On Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 6-8pm, the Suffolk County Bar Association will host the 4th Annual “Cohalan Cares for Kids” event in support of EAC Network’s Suffolk County Children Center at Cohalan Court, which is an alternative to crowded courtrooms and waiting areas that enables parents with young children to attend to their court business. After governmental funding for the program was cut, this annual fundraiser is the main means of financial support for the Center.
This year’s event will be a “BBQ and Brew” and feature beer from Brick House Brewery and Greenport Harbor Brewing Co. Barbecue will be provided courtesy of Fireside Caterers of East Northport. There will also be live music.
Sponsorship packages are available and individual tickets are $50. For more information, questions, or to donate a prize item or basket, please contact Alena Jones at 516.539.0150 x117 or visit https://cohalancares.karma411.com/.
