This workshop will give students the choice of felted bangled bracelets or felted soap.
To create a bangled bracelet, The students will learn the basics in wet and needle felting by rolling a large coil made from rolled tufts of extra fine merino wool into a strong solid bangle. Beaded embellishments will be added as the bracelets are finished off.
For this section of the workshop, students are required to bring a felting needle, a beading needle and an assortment of their favorite beads. Threads and extra seed beads will be provided. Students are required to bring 2 towels and a bamboo mat or place mat that can be rolled.

To create felted soap, students will explore wet felting by wrapping your favorite bar of soap with extra fine merino wool. The wool shrinks and felts around the soap, turning itself into a built in washcloth. Merino wool is a naturally anti-bacterial and anti-fungal, so your soap will stay fresh and last 3x as long. Students must bring 2 towels and a medium size mixing bowl to felt over.
