Bruce Adolphe is a composer and Resident Lecturer & Director of Family Concerts for The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. He has been appointed Composer-in-Residence at the Brain and Creativity Institute in Los Angeles, where he works with neuroscientists Antonio and Hanna Damasio. Adolphe will be speaking on “The Mind’s Ear: Composing and the Musical Imagination.”

Alexis Gambis earned his Ph.D. in molecular biology and genetics at Rockefeller University and is the founder of Imagine Science Films, having written and directed over a dozen short films. He has just completed his first feature film, The Fly Room, about the legendary geneticist Calvin Bridges. This is the fruit of over a decade of his interdisciplinary career in science and filmmaking. Gambis will exclusively preview his new film and discuss its creation.
