Juried by Lisa Chalif, Curator of The Heckscher Museum of Art, photographic works by twenty-nine national artists have been selected for the Elemental Light Exhibition that demonstrate light – photography’s very essence – and capture the play of
dust-speckled beams, explore the graphics of shadows, interpret moods of the Golden
Hour, and translate colors of artificial light.

The exhibit opens with a free public reception and Awards presentation on Saturday, July 8 from 6-8pm where guests can enjoy a toast of bubbly and light bites with the artists.

Aside from being chosen for the exhibition at the Gallery, Juror’s Awards include an artist’s advertising package from Hamptons Online (Hamptons.com), as well as photographic equipment, fine art printing services, and framing prizes from Berger Bros. Camera, Eston Photo, and Abbot Art Picture Framing & Giclee Printing in Long Island, NY.
