Grammy-award winning singer-composer-bassist Esperanza Spalding will present Emily’s D+Evolution at the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts/LIU Post. Emily’s D+Evolution will be performing all new material that Esperanza says “unfolds as live musical vignettes.”
Esperanza Spalding recently held a two-week residency with students on the LIU Post campus. LIU Post’s College of Arts, Communications and Design (www.liu.edu) provides an exceptional number of opportunities for students to perform, host and exhibit throughout the year. LIU Post’s Tilles Center for the Performing Arts, Long Island’s premier concert venue, offers real-world experience for students both onstage and behind the curtain. Selected stars that perform at the Tilles Center also conduct workshops, talkbacks, and master classes with students.
