Steven Perkins, a law librarian and former law professor has been conducting genealogical research for 40 years. He will discuss the types of DNA commonly tested; the difference between forensic and genetic genealogy DNA testing; the main testing companies; and how testing can be of use to adoptees, as well as those with well-developed pedigrees.
